Red Wine Cocktails You Need To Try ASAP
Bust out the red wine cocktails!
Last weekend I finished my last cold bottle of Whispering Angel and you know what that means…..RED WINE SEASON! I love red wine; it’s always a welcome shift when the weather cools a smidge and I start busting out the Pinot Noir. When I was doing a little online research into what red wines to try this fall, I stumbled across a recipe for a red wine cocktail, which led to falling down a red wine cocktails rabbit hole. I found some really yummy recipes and being the good friend I am I thought I’d share them – bottoms up!
Amaretto Bourbon Cocktail With Red Wine Float
I’m used to drinks with a champagne float, so imagine my surprise and delight when I found this recipe with a red wine float! I love learning new things.
Red Wine Spritzer
Making a red wine spritzer takes only two seconds more than pouring a regular glass of red wine, and stretches your bottle out a lil bit.
Blackberry Sangria
Back in my younger days, I would throw whatever wine and questionable fruit I had in the kitchen into a vat and call it sangria. Now that I’m a woman of a certain age I know there are actual recipes for sangria, the knowledge of age.
Classic Mulled Wine
Shhhhh….mulled wine is pretty much just warm sangria.
The Devils Margarita
The perfect drink for Halloween! Or anytime you can’t decide between red wine and tequila. (PS I think this margarita would pair beautifully with a few of these tacos)
Kalimotxo
This is literally just red wine and coke and its delicious.
Red Moon Over Manhattan
The name of this cocktail sounds very fancy, but I promise it’s easy to make…and drink
Red Wine Hot Chocolate
Looking back, I can’t believe I lived to middle age without trying red wine hot chocolate but here we are.
Red Wine, Blackberry, And Ginger Pitcher Cocktail
The perfect easy batch drink to make for company, and the box wine can be our little secret.
