The Best Things I Watched
It’s the end of the month and you know what that means, time for me to share the best things I’ve watched! Lets get right to it.
WandaVision
Ok I’m a little late to the WandaVision party, but oh man is it good. First of all I’m downright ecstatic that queen, icon, legend Kathryn Hahn is now in the MCU. Next, after the year we have all had; so many of us losing loved ones and not being able to say goodbye, or even take part in our cultural or religious ceremonies that help is grieve, Wanda’s tale of grief and loss is especially poignant. If you’ve haven’t been faithfully watching all the Marvel movies you can still enjoy WandaVision, they do a great job of letting you know what you need to know, and if you have any questions I can give you a promo code for a free Google.
VEEP
One of my friends at work started watching VEEP and I thought it might be fun to rewatch along with him, and guess what? It was fun! As funny as the show still is, the antics of Selina Meyer and her merry band of idiots hit a lot different after the past few years. I mean the post election shenanigans alone, oof.
90 Day Fiance The Single Life
Would you like to know what rock bottom looks like? It looks like me sitting on my couch in my Costco pajamas signing up for Discovery+ to watch the 90 Day FiancĂ© Cinematic Universe. It’s straight garbage, but it’s entertaining as hell. Except for Big Ed, I want that sex tourist off my screen.
Murder Among The Mormons
It is a well-known fact that I LOVE true crime. I consume it through all the mediums – TV, podcasts, books, magazines, websites, newspapers, etc, so it is a rare thing for me to come across a case I know absolutely nothing about. Murder Among The Mormons is that rare thing. An added bonus is that I find Mormonism fascinating.
Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament
THESE GAMES! This year’s Women’s NCAA tournament has been straight fire. Seriously I am at a loss for words. The games have been fast paced, physical demonstrations of athletic prowess. I mean the UCONN v Baylor game? Both teams went on runs to take double digit leads with UCONN coming out on top by only one point after a highly controversial drive to the basket by superstar DiJonai Carrington. The Final Four is this Friday and the Championship is Sunday, watch the games. Watch the games, tell your friends to watch the games, post on social media about the games, amplify these women!
Did you watch anything amazing this month? I’m always looking for recommendations!
