The 10 Best Crystals To Ring In The New Year
Let’s talk about the best crystals for the New Year…
As we gear up to embrace the fresh vibes of the New Year, and we buy planners; and food scales, and budget binders and sweater organizers and whatever else we think may help us be our best selves in 2024, may I suggest something a little woo woo? How bout some crystals?! Crystals aren’t just pretty rocks; they’re like little metaphysical hype men…or hype women, I do not want to project gender. I could talk about hundreds of crystals, and all their properties, but for the sake of brevity I’m just going to give you my ten picks for the best crystals for the new year.
Citrine
Citrine is my go-to stone for radiating positivity and manifesting abundance, two things I want a heck of a lot more of in 2024. It’s golden hue is a burst of sunshine of the dullest of days, uplifting spirits and inviting prosperity into our lives. Let’s kick off the year with the best vibes.
Malachite
Malachite is THEE transformation stone. It assists in changing situations and spiritual growth, it heals on physical and emotional levels, and empowers us to take action and live our lives to the fullest. A word of caution, due to its high copper content, Malachite is considered toxic so we should only be handling it tumbled form.
Aventurine
Need a little extra luck and opportunity this year? There’s a crystal for that! Aventurine is considered by most to be a good luck stone. It’s energy amplifying, can aid in manifestation, and opens your heart to greater potential and infinite possibilities. What more do you need in 2024?!
Selenite
Selenite is a real “do it all” type of crystal and is a must for any collection. For starter it cleanses other crystals, and it also cleanses auras and spaces of negative energy…and if there is one thing we’re getting rid of in the New Year it’s negative energy! And Selenite is believed to bring light, calm, and clarity. It’s like your oneway ticket to Zen, baby!
Moonstone
Personally, I’m a sucker for moonstone, I just love it! Symbolizing new beginnings, this magical stone is tied to lunar energy, helping you navigate through transitions and embrace your intuition. Moonstone is a conduit for the Divine feminine energy, bringing dreams to life. And speaking of Divine feminine energy, moonstone helps us ladies honor our inner goddess, and can help the men in our lives reconnect to their intuitive and emotional side. Fluorite
Feeling a bit scattered? Fluorite to the rescue! Fluorite can help enhance mental clarity, silence unorganized mental chatter, and provide clarity for confident decision making. Also it looks cool.
Bloodstone
Yes it sounds like something from Game of Thrones but stick with me. Bloodstone can help build confidence, courage, and determination. Bloodstone is associated with the root chakra, so it grounds you in the present moment. I like to carry a bloodstone palm stone when I need a little extra oomph.
Ocean Jasper
Maybe its because I grew up so close to the beach, but I’ve always had an affinity for ocean jasper. Ocean jasper’s colors and banding echo the serenity of the shore, and connect you with the rhythm of the ocean, promoting relaxation and joy.
Amethyst
Am I biased because amethyst is also my birthstone? Possibly, but it’s also one of the most beloved crystals on the market. Known for its calming properties, this regal crystal helps in enhancing spiritual awareness and promoting inner peace. I like to keep a piece on my bedside table, even when traveling.
Rose Quartz
Last but not least, let’s embrace love in all it’s forms with rose quartz! This gentle pink crystal is all about compassion, harmony and love. And not just romantic love! Rose quartz is great for self-love, and with that comes self-acceptance and healing.
Incorporating these, or any, crystals into your daily life, whether through meditation, carrying them with you, or decorating with them, can infuse your year with positive energies and a touch of magic. Happy New Year!
